Here at LLCF Downey you can expect to be welcomed in by a warm group of people who will accept you just as you are. Our focus is not where you’ve been, but where you are headed. You can be yourself and come just as you are and experience being connected, or reconnected, to God. A person who is exploring the Christian faith is no less important than someone who has been in church for many years, and vice versa. We want to be intentional in reaching out to others with the love of Christ and helping people realize their God-given potential.
If you like to dress up, then dress up. If you prefer to go casual and comfortable, like shorts, jeans, sneakers, flip flops, or t-shirts, you can wear those, too. LLCF Downey is about people seeking a real experience with God and learning to know Him better and be engaged in the world. What you wear is not as nearly as important as what’s going on inside of you. Read More... |
